Daniela joined TRIAL International in 2020 to manage a transversal project to increase accountability and prevent enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. The project focuses mainly on Mexico, Nepal and The Gambia, as well as on the promotion of international standards.


Daniela spent eight years promoting human rights in Africa, Asia and Latin America. She has extensive experience working in the field and at headquarters for the United Nations and NGOs. She has a degree in social sciences from the University of Lausanne, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Gender, Justice and Globalization from the University of Berne and works in English, French, Spanish and German.
