Fight against sexual violence: translating words into action

Dear friends,

Last month, a Congolese warlord was condemned to 20 years imprisonment for sexual slavery. Ten years after the crimes, his victims have finally seen their suffering recognized.

For years, TRIAL International has fought at the side of sexual violence victims in their quest for justice. Our organization has developed a solid expertise on documenting and prosecuting those crimes, which all too often remain invisible. 

On the 18 and 19 June, TRIAL International will gather other actors of the fight against sexual violence in order to reinforce civil society collaboration. Two days to exchange views, share our experiences and develop tools to improve the victims' access to justice. We look forward to seeing many of you at the public round table (more information here).
